I’ve never been able to understand why people say women are complex… men are definitely harder to understand than we are!
Take my ex for example (any of my exes since they all acted the same).

It took me years to figure out what goes on in a guy’s mind when he’s in a relationship.

Before you freak out over your boyfriend’s weird behavior, let me tell you how men think about relationships.
1 . He Is Terrified
Your man is first and foremost afraid of being in a serious relationship.
It is natural, indeed, to question your decision.
He wonders if it’s the right choice, he probably feels some sort of pressure from his single friends to be more, well, “single”, and he realizes he’s given his most vulnerable asset to you… his heart.
This is not easy for a man.
2 . You Are More Important Than His Friends
He knows his friends can be real idiots.
While they’re busy living the single life and trying to pick up any woman they see (usually to no avail), the truth is, your guy knows how lucky he is to have you in his life.
He’s well aware of all the things you do for him, and because of how lucky he knows he is, your man thinks you’re more important than his friends.
He’ll put you first, he’ll make sure you’re happy first, and he’ll be happy to come home when you say so, no matter how much your friends insult him about it.
Your boyfriend is not an idiot.
3 . He Is Dedicated To You
Have you ever met a man who was so heartbroken that he could never get over the woman who hurt him?
I’ve known many men like that.
I dated some of them (relationships that were doomed from the start).
Know this, ladies: as soon as he gives his heart to you, it will be yours.
He will love you, desire, and want only you.
If you break away from it, he’ll compare every woman on the planet to you, and he’ll never really be able to get over you.
4 . He Acts Like An Idiot Because…
If your man acts like a jerk about your relationship, there are a few good reasons.
First, he might be nervous about falling in love with you and his brain just isn’t processing very well.
Love has that effect on people.
Secondly, he might be acting like an idiot because he expects you to break up with him so he doesn’t have to keep diving into this heart-wrenching thing called love (but he won’t do anything really worth letting go, he mostly gets a bit annoying).
5 . He’s Not Sure How To Open Up To You
As soon as he stops acting like an idiot, he’ll try to open up to you.
Honestly, though, he has no idea how to do that.
He doesn’t really know.
Whenever he tries to talk about his feelings, the words just won’t come out and he shuts down.
He doesn’t want to feel vulnerable, but he doesn’t want to hide his feelings either.
6 . He Puts You On A Pedestal
You are practically a deity to your man.
He loves and adores you more than any other woman.
No woman compares to you, no woman can do the things you do, no woman has your scent, your smile, your hair… no one is you and that’s why it’s practically impossible for you to do something wrong.
7 . He Got Cold… Again
Once he realizes that he has all these feelings for you and that you’re perfect for him, and he’s not sure if he deserves you, he’s going to get scared all over again.
He will act like an idiot.
He will shut up and not speak.
In fact, it will make you wonder if your relationship is okay or if something is really wrong.
There isn’t, he’s just freaking out.
8 . He Is Jealous
No matter what kind of relationship you have with a guy, he will be jealous of any other man you talk to or share a laugh with.
Especially the ones you laugh with.
Your man wants to be everything to you and is terribly jealous of other guys.
If you flirt with other men, if you sit next to other men, if you laugh at another man’s jokes, your guy will go crazy!
It’s not just a territorial issue, it’s the fear that another guy might make you happy.
9 . He Needs Room To Breathe… But Not Too Much
In every relationship, a man needs space to breathe.
He needs to be able to hang out with friends, and play pool.
He needs to be able to take a break from “relationship mode” and activate “fraternity boy” mode every now and then.
It’s okay, don’t worry.
The truth is, he doesn’t want to be in “fraternity boy” mode for long and prefers that you’re not exactly 100 percent fine with him for breathing.

10 . He Loves His Quirks
The one thing your man is sure to think about in their relationship is their little quirks.
Whatever makes you, “you”, is exactly what he has fallen in love with and exactly what he thinks about all the time.
Your man knows that no other woman will eat like you, sing like you, have that chipped front tooth like you… your uniqueness is the driving force in this relationship.
