Love is often sought
The difference between liking and loving is a question that many people will ask themselves at least once in their lives. They see that people will do their best to achieve this feeling, however, some may not know why or how it really feels to be in love. They will see that people spend money to join websites that promise to find their perfect match and fall in love or… maybe they will watch a TV show or movie that features two characters doing their best to keep that love strong and honest. But what exactly is love? How does love feel?
What is love?
Love is an intense feeling of attachment to someone. It is the feeling of affection that brings the will to do anything to make that person well and happy. Love is often described as feeling butterflies in your stomach when you see and touch someone. While that happens on occasion, it is more accurate to say that love is a feeling of comfort when you do those things. But where does love begin? Love usually starts to grow when you meet a person for the first time. It may start out as friends or it may even start out as a crush, but after a few months of meeting that person, you will notice that your feelings are changing and growing. Your friends may ask you if they are falling in love and this could be the moment when you realize that you are really starting to love them. You will be spending more time together and the butterflies in your stomach that you had when you first met have now turned into a feeling of comfort. This will be the person you turn to when you are sad or angry. Love is not something that comes out of nowhere, love is cultivated. It is the feeling of finally finding your home.
How is it?
Another popular question when it comes to relationships is, “How does someone feel?” The feeling of pleasing someone is a pretty strong feeling. It is as if this person attracts you. You can look at them or fantasize just talking to them. You don’t have to really know the person to like them. You may like how they look, how you’ve seen them walk, or even how they talk. It’s like being in love with that person. Falling in love is an intense passion or admiration for this person and yet it is often short-lived. Feeling “in love” with a person can be described as liking them. You could sit next to them in class or be in the next cubicle at work. It could even be your neighbor. Once you like someone, you can try everything you can think of to be close to them. Find something you have in common, or pretend you like something you know he does. You may be too scared or even too shy to try to date him or even ask him out. Usually, this leads to nothing more than being friends, and where it does, they end up in two ways. One is that you can start to fall in love with this person and the other is that you realize that this person is not what you thought and you can possibly enjoy them as a friend in your life. In the second scenario, it is likely that nothing else happens in this relationship other than friendship. This leads to nothing more than being friends, and where it does, they end up in two ways. What is the difference between the two?
The difference between loving and loving someone is that the difference between the two is often difficult to understand. You could feel such strong feelings for a person that it seems like you are madly in love with them and months later you feel nothing at all. Taste and love can seem exactly the same in many situations. However, there are many differences between them. Like and love is intense feelings of attraction, however, when you are in love with someone, it is a feeling that lasts. It does not come to anything within a few months of meeting or getting to know the person, whereas someone’s liking can often disappear within a few days. When you love someone deeply, you’ve known them for a while, you’ve come to know who they are as a person, you know their likes and dislikes and even what motivates them. You don’t really need to know a person to like them. You could see a cute boy at school and how his hair frames his face and how he talks to you or even smiles at you. You may like it immediately without even knowing its name. Love is a lasting feeling and love continues to grow as many relationships deepen. The feeling of love doesn’t change unless it gets deeper and deeper. You accept them for their flaws when you are in love, whereas when you like someone, the smallest things can change it. You may find that they like figure skating or playing in a band and your feelings for them could change in an instant. Like is best described as a short-lived crush on that person. Oftentimes, many relationships begin with the feeling of liking each other, and these feelings can later turn into love. However, many relationships never reach the infatuation phase either. The couple loves each other for a few weeks or possibly even months and then one or both of them disagree with the other and the relationship ends there. The main difference between liking and loving is the time you feel with the feeling. Love is a long-term feeling and taste can be just the opposite. What do we do after we find out?
Likes and love are very similar, however, it is the amount of time you have known the person and how well you know them that makes the difference. So what do you do after finding out which one you feel? There’s not much to do. Loving someone is a feeling that will grow into something bigger or disappear over time. However, that doesn’t make it any less exciting. Take that feeling you are experiencing and see where it takes you. That could be asking that person out on a date or having your first conversation with them. You will not know if this feeling that you are having will transform into love. The best thing to do is to chase the feeling you have and see where it takes you.
