I don’t need expensive gifts, spoil me by staying faithful

Spoil me by paying attention. Stop in the middle of the street and hold me so tightly in your arms that I would have the impression that my bones are breaking. Kiss my cheek when I do something cute in your eyes.

Kiss me or send me a text if you’re not with me, ask me how my day went. Listen. Be present. Be there. One of the greatest gifts you can give me is your time.

Be my rock. Be my person. My refuge when I have a bad day.

Be the one who wipes my tears. Be the one who never makes me cry.

Be the one who shares my laughter. Be the one who makes me smile. Someone who enjoys my good days as much as I do. Someone who celebrates my happiness just as much as I celebrate his.

Grant me your forgiveness as I will grant you mine.

We cannot always agree, especially when we are arguing over something trivial or important.

Remember that anger is only a temporary thing and that we have so much more that unites us. Do not forget that you grow thanks to each obstacle you encounter.

Spoil me with little things that matter.

Take me on an adventure in a nearby park. We will picnic and breathe fresh air while you tell me about your favorite activities when you were little.

Tell me when did you have the most fun. Tell me what made you sad. Tell me what you wanted to be when you grow up. Tell me why you changed your mind. Tell me everything.

Make me tea when I’m cold. Cover me before going to sleep. Kiss me to wish me good night.

Spoil me with your loyalty. Show me that you’re just mine.

Show me that there is no one more beautiful or more important in the world than me. Show me that you only have eyes for me.

Respect me as much as I respect you. Don’t lie to me and make no mistake, I’ve had enough of this for a lifetime. Be a man of your word.

Be someone I can trust. Someone who will hold my heart and never let go.

Everything I want has nothing to do with expensive gifts. It has nothing to do with material things, because they are fleeting. They are temporary. They have no real value.

I want something more permanent, something that will last a lifetime, something that I will preserve as my greatest treasure.

I want your love, I want your heart, I want your loyalty. I want to know that you’re just mine.
